Tata forms new subsidiary in TELCO Automation
In March this year, two divisions of Tata Engineering were hived
off
from the parent company and one new subsidiary was formed, namely,
Telco Automation Ltd. This company forms a vital part of the Tata
group.
The manufacturing capabilities of Telco have developed and evolved
with actual experience over 3 decades. The world class Manufacturing
Systems capability is available in planning, procurement, manufacturing,
installation and commissioning of any type of equipment.
The
latest example of these capabilities are the manufacturing facilities
for the INDICA car. This manufacturing expertise is now available
to Telco as well as customers other than Telco through a new company
- Telco Automation Ltd.
The state-of-the-art equipment that the company possesses includes
machine tools, robotics, materials handling, assembly and process
lines, heat treatment equipment, painting systems, foundry equipment,
testing equipment, special purpose equipment, tool and dies, CAD/CAE
conversions, and many more. Apart
from the above mentioned products and services, the Company provides
innovative and customized solutions to meet the special and unique
manufacturing needs. It is a Company focused on offering cost effective
solutions to its customers in the field of manufacturing engineering.
